Sharing Great Finds With You!

Ipsy – April

on April 18, 2013

Wow!  Ipsy has rebounded from last month’s bag.
Many blogs posted disappointment with March’s offering – and they seem to have heard many of you out there!

April’s Theme: Pretty In Pink

Pretty In Pink

Hmmm… looking good so far – let’s look further!

Beach Please

Bombshell Blush in ‘Beach Please’
Retail $16.00 – Full Size Sample

Super bright pink!!
With the right touch and the right brush this will definitely give a rosy glow for spring.

Heartache

Two Cosmetics Duo Eyeshadow in ‘Heartache’
Retail $5.75 – Full Size Sample

Kind of mixed feelings on this one.  Cool they are pretty colors – and it is full sized.
Sad they are supporting a rather sketchy company that looks at profit over safety.
Hopefully, these are actually safe for your eyes.

Soy Renewal

Sexy Hair Soy Renewal
Retail $21.95 for 4.2 oz – Sample Value $4.22

Yay – I just ran out of my Josie Maran sample so this is perfect timing!

of corset I'll call you

Sation Nail Lacquer in ‘Of Corset I’ll Call You’
Retail $5.00 – Full Size Sample

I never heard of Sation until now.  I am loving this nudey pink – it’s the first to go with my skin tone!
Bonus it is 3 Free – no DBP, Toluene or Formaldehyde and made in the US!

Total Value for my April Ipsy bag – $30.97

Some may not be big fans of pink but I do like this bag.
For those with edgy looks they may be surprised what they can do with these if they give them a try.
Besides, Pretty In Pink was one of my favorite movies 🙂

I’m totally loving the pink theme although that blush looks pretty intense.

I really enjoyed this theme too! As for the blush – I have found the MAC 187 Duo Fiber will tame most intense colored blushes to a softer glow. Carmindy on What Not To Wear taught that trick 😉
