Ipsy is here!
Yay!
September’s Theme: Classic Beauty
So far this looks promising!
Em-Cosmetics – Life Palette Career Life ‘Out To Lunch’
Retail $75
This is not technically considered a sample. It’s just like what you would
find in a fashion magazine – just a tease for maybe one use.
Skyn Iceland Hydro Cool Firming Eye Gels
Retail $30 for 8 pairs – Sample Value $7.50 for 2 pairs
Honestly, I have been wanting to try Skyn Iceland – so I was jazzed to find this!
Today I woke up with Samsonite stamped under each eye!
Not bags – but luggage! So I figured what the heck – give ’em a try.
Stuck them on and vacuumed the house (my kid found this quite amusing).
When they came off my eyes were not as puffy! An hour later they were even better!
May have to keep some of these in my kit for days like today.
Starlooks Kohl Eye Pencil in ‘Obsidian’
Retail $12 – Full Size Sample
Ugh! Black eyeliner.
I like eyeliner – but give us some color!!!
Emerald – Violet – Navy Blue
Cailyn Tinted Lip Balm in ‘Big Apple’
Retail $19 – Full Size Sample
I was excited to try this but it’s more lipstick than lip balm.
Very cool concept with the container – but the color didn’t work for me.
Lucky for one of my friends – this color will be great on her!
Elizabeth Mott It’s So Big Volumizing Mascara in ‘Black’
Retail $19.99 for 10 ml – Sample Value $8 for 3 ml
I love getting mascara! This isnt’ the greatest – but I make it work for me.
Keep these coming!
NYX Eye Shadow in ‘Lanikai’
Retail $4.50 – Full Size Sample
This is a great color – but I received a similar color recently.
Now I have to decide which I like more!
Total Value for my June Ipsy bag – $50
Ipsy has been working hard to make the samples in the bags more customized
based on the quiz you take and the reviews you leave for the items you receive.
Too bad I was traveling last month and didn’t do my reviews…
….or I might have received the cool butter LONDON nail polish 😦
Regardless, I still enjoyed this bag – and my friends always enjoy getting the
items that don’t quite work for me 🙂
Ipsy is a $10 per month subscription service that offers deluxe and full size product samples.
